Thanks but there is no plug as described and I dont want to bugger up the card hooking and drilling looking for it. All there is is a triangular plate that appears to cover what would be a connection in the left side if something went all the way through at that point to the right side.
Its above and behind the brass rotating throttle shaft bushing.
There are also 2 tiny little brass thingies but they are about 1mm or less: so tiny as to not even be able to get to touch them hardly. One is about "up" at 30 degress or so and the other is down the same angle. They are part of a sort of vertical spine in the carb to the front of the triangular plate.
I cant imagine they have screws in them.
I have been around bikes for may years and also have a 4 cyl GSX with 4 carbs I regularly strip and rebuild but I have never seen any set up like this.
I guess its a case of "oh well" ??
